The students can reach out and communicate with the course coordinators for eligibility. After deciding on and arranging with a mentor , the process is as follows:<\/p>\n<ol>\n<li><strong>You need to communicate with the mentor to apply to the project<\/strong>. If you get approved, you need to send the final approval mail of your mentor to bkara@bilkent.edu.tr with subject \u2018IE399 alumni mentored approval\u2019.<\/li>\n<li>You will choose the department instead of company in <a href=\"http:\/\/mfstaj.bilkent.edu.tr\">http:\/\/mfstaj.bilkent.edu.tr<\/a> and your applications with Dean\u2019s office will start.\n<ol>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Choose Bilkent University IE Department as company.<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Select the start and end date of your project and generate a form.<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">E-mail the form you generated to <\/span><a href=\"mailto:mfstaj@bilkent.edu.tr\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">mfstaj@bilkent.edu.tr<\/span><\/a><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">.<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<\/li>\n<li>The official acceptance letter from the company is to be replaced with the Department approval and departments will send these automatically to Dean\u2019s office.<\/li>\n<li>Note that you do not need an insurance for project based internship and hence the two-weeks requirement for insurance is no longer needed <span style=\"font-weight: 400\">but you need to complete these steps 3 days before your project starts<\/span>.<\/li>\n<li>For project based internships, report format and content depends on the necessities of the project and hence, will be determined by the mentor.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>IE 399 There will be a dynamic list of available alternatives at https:\/\/courses.ie.bilkent.edu.tr\/ie299\/alumni-projects\/.
