IE 399

There will be a dynamic list of available alternatives at https://courses.ie.bilkent.edu.tr/ie299/alumni-projects/. The students can reach out and communicate with the course coordinators for eligibility. After deciding on and arranging with a mentor , the process is as follows:

1. You need to communicate with the mentor to apply to the project. If you get approved, you need to send the final approval mail of your mentor to bkara@bilkent.edu.tr with subject ‘IE399 alumni mentored approval’.
2. You will choose the department instead of company in http://mfstaj.bilkent.edu.tr and your applications with Dean’s office will start.
   1. Choose Bilkent University IE Department as company.
   2. Select the start and end date of your project and generate a form.
   3. E-mail the form you generated to mfstaj@bilkent.edu.tr.
3. The official acceptance letter from the company is to be replaced with the Department approval and departments will send these automatically to Dean’s office.
4. Note that you do not need an insurance for project based internship and hence the two-weeks requirement for insurance is no longer needed but you need to complete these steps 3 days before your project starts.
5. For project based internships, report format and content depends on the necessities of the project and hence, will be determined by the mentor.
